Attack of the Mutant Killer Snowman

We made our own Calvin & Hobbes tribute in the front yard this past weekend, in honor of all the wonderful snowmen that Bill Watterson put into "Calvin & Hobbes" over the years. We brought the Christmas tree into the house on Saturday, so there were still a few boughs in the yard where I'd trimmed the trunk. I used a couple for the snowman's arms, and after i jammed them into the snow I realized that their forward curve, along with the whole snowman's streetward tilt, made it look pretty aggressive:

As soon as I realized it, I positioned one of my precious children in front of the creature in order to stage a horrifying tableau -- but I just don't think she wasn't being serious enough about it:
