Raking '08
Last week it was rainy and gray and windy for a few days, and then on Saturday night a storm really blew through. Here's what it looked like on Sunday morning:
We'd gone to church the night before, so we got out the rakes and set to work. Clearly, the kids were a great help.
But by lunchtime, we were done. And before the freshening breeze could bring in more leaves from the upwind neighbor's oaks and elms, here's what we had managed to wrest from nature:
