Softball season ends
Our favorite softball player patrols center field in the semifinal game:
Then on Friday, the big showdown with the Angels, a team studded with her friends. It may look as though they were bathed in celestial light -- but really I just forgot about not pointing the camera toward the sun.
Each team had a pretty good game with a few goofs. Lots of parents and grandparents showed up for the game -- more than usual. Of course, not everyone was as interested in the game:
But it all came down to a tied score and loaded bases in the bottom of the last inning, with the season's outcome hanging on a play at the plate -- and they won! Good job, ladies.
